Large-Scale Infrastructure Transformation

Trusted To Deliver Complex Change

Challenge

The Ministry of Defence embarked on a major infrastructure programme to modernise facilities supporting critical national operations. The project spanned multiple sites, involved thousands of personnel and required careful coordination across military, government and commercial stakeholders. As priorities evolved during delivery, the programme had to continually adapt while maintaining momentum and governance.

Our Approach

Antares was engaged to establish the governance, planning and delivery framework needed to manage a programme of exceptional complexity. We worked alongside military and civilian leadership to create a structured delivery approach, bringing together extensive technical data, long-term planning and stakeholder engagement into a single, coordinated programme.

When the COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally changed operational requirements, we rapidly restructured the programme, preserving valuable work already completed while adapting plans to meet an entirely new operating environment. Rather than restarting from scratch, we helped the client evolve the programme with minimal disruption and renewed confidence.

Outcome

By introducing robust governance and practical delivery disciplines, Antares helped create a programme capable of adapting to changing national priorities without losing direction. New ways of working were established, critical infrastructure planning remained on track, and the client was left with a delivery framework that continued to support future decision-making long after our engagement concluded.
